Hello everyone!

Has anyone else noticed that spring is sloowly beginning to show? Dodgy pun in the title (Shooting, plants/photos. No? Ah I tried. Hee hee!) I know but I have a very exciting little spring 'inspired' photoshoot that I did with my lovely friend Charlotte this week. Enjoy!

So two weeks ago I was given the brilliant opportunity to review four products from Insta Natural (Thank you to Phil for getting in touch!). In this post I will tell you what I thought of them!

So first things first, the delivery service is amazing; I ordered the products on Tuesday evening and received them on Friday afternoon! They all arrived in a neat box, (not the stupidly large kind that most orders come in these days) individually packed in bubble and shrink wrap.





Overall

I think this is a brilliant product and for a fraction of the price of some on the market! I think this would be perfect for those with dry or mature skin.

Vitamin C Serum 

Packaging 

The packaging of this product is almost identical to the Acid Serum but it's 1/2 the size. The pipette works really well with this formula as it's quite liquid-y but not so much that it's running off your hand!

Product

I think that it is down to using this product I haven't had a spot for two whole weeks - this is a total break-through! However it doesn't have this in the claims and I haven't seen any other changes but this might not be the same for other skin-types. It has quite a distinct orange aroma which is very pleasant. You don't need very much to cover your whole face so I think the bottle will last a long while!



Overall

This is a really excellent product, I just wish the packaging was nicer! I will definitely be repurchasing but I think it'll take me a long while to finish the bottle!

Argan Oil

Packaging 

I like this packaging, it's very similar to the first two products so they look good on the shelf together! The pump is very useful, I find that one pump will cover my whole face; I think that this method should be used on the Hyaluronic Acid Serum as well.

Product

Personally, I haven't been that impressed by this product, it's okay but it takes so long to sink into my skin that I feel like I have products that would be so much easier and more practical to use. Saying that though it has done the job, my skin has felt lovely and plump so I guess it's worth the wait! I'm holding my hands up and saying that I haven't yet been brave enough to use this on my hair so I will have to report back to you on that. I think it's brilliant that it uses 100% pure Argan Oil with no added rubbish in the mix!


Overall

This product is okay, it takes AGES to sink into my skin but it gets the job done. I will definitely continue using it and will experiment on my hair and nails!

Hello everyone!

I can't believe January has been and gone already! It has been a great start to the year, I've been to London to watch CATS at the Palladium and had the time of my life performing our own production of the musical! I have discovered some brilliant bits and bobs over last month and here they are. 

On that note, CATS The Musical! Oh my, what an amazing show, the costume, cast, set, lighting, music, theatre, everything was just astonishing! I went along with our own CATS crew (I was in a production of CATS if you're new here!) and it inspired us all to put on an amazing show ourselves! I could blabber on forever but I'll leave at... Nicole Scherzinger's voice!!!




Okay everyone, my obsession with John Mayer has kind of gotten out of control; his music is perfection, he is perfection! He is ALMOST on par with David Tennant, in my opinion, and that is saying something! I have particularly been loving his latest album Paradise Valley and Where The Light Is Live Recording, I could listen to them on repeat.

I have just repurchased Rimmel Match Perfection after way too long, it's a great all-rounder foundation for everyday and I just love it! However, I noticed that the bottle is significantly smaller along with Wake Me Up or is it just me?





Rituals Fortune Scrub is my greatest discovery this month! I have always been a great lover of the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush scrub but this one is on another level. The little granules aren't too scratchy which I usually find and I love the fact that is lathers so it leaves you with a very clean feeling afterwards. The only downside is that the scent (which is soo very desirable) doesn't last very long on my skin which is such a shame!



Now, I'm not an avid reader by any stretch but... I have a favourite book this month! I have been reading Michelle Phan's Makeup: Your Life Guide to Beauty, Style and Success Online and Off (long title!) and I love it! It is so well-written, the style, layout and photographs are brilliant and it's the kind of book that you can go back to again and again after reading. I haven't yet finished it but I am very close so when I have I'll let you know my final thoughts on Facebook!

Hello everyone!

Winter has been around for a long while now an during this time I have really been getting to know the season, therefore I thought I'd share with you what my Winter essentials have been!

Fluffy socks are a must-have! They are great to lounge around the house and don't get in the way like I find slippers do. You can pick them up almost anywhere in almost any colour, print or pattern!

I am loving burning candles at the minute, they make the room look and smell great and give a Christmassy vibe! This one from Aromatherapy is so fresh yet relaxing and fills up the whole room!



Thick, cosy jumpers are always on my back at this time of the year! Two particular jumpers have been circulating recently particularly the Black and White, fuzzy one (H&M) which you have already seen here. My wardrobe seems to be have gained quite a few jumpers this winter!

Although I drink both all year round, coffee and hot chocolate keep you warm on the coldest days. I got a brilliant Starbucks travel mug for Christmas so that has spurred me on to drink more! See my Winter Drinks Guide here. 



Boots have saved my life pretty much everyday since September! I always seem to have cold hands and feet so thick and fluffy boots are very much needed! If I could choose to live in either summer shoes or boots all year round I would always go for boots.
