Hello Everybody!

So today I thought I would give advice to anyone who is just starting out in makeup or just wants some budget essentials to add to their collection!

To start with a Foundation! I am loving Rimmel Match Perfection at the minute. It's light weight and long lasting which are the two things I look for in a simple daytime foundation. It comes in 10 shades from Porcelain to Bronze. This product has matte finish but I don't find it at all drying. It is one of the cheapest of its kind on the market at the minute at a RRP of only £6.99!

Next up a concealer. I have chosen Natural Collection Cover Up Cream. It's a Boots own brand product but it worked really well! This is one of the cheapest concealers I could find for you (and I happened to own it) coming in at a only £1.99! It works for spots, blemishes and dark circles so an all-in-one product. The only thing I would say about it is you have to work speedily because it tends to set quite quickly.

For a bronzer I have chosen MUA Bronzer. I have this in Shade 3 which I use for a strong contour on the go as it fits perfectly in the side pocket of my bag! This is a really good product considering it's only £1.00! It is smooth and blendable which is great but it isn't very pigmented so I have the darkest shade which seems to make up or that.

Now then, for blush I chose Rimmel London Lasting Finish Mono Blush. I am not a big fan of blush but this is a good one! It is quite pigmented, blendable and just ticks all the boxes for a drugstore blush. It only comes in 4 shades which is a shame but they cover all basis! For £3.99 it's a good one to get!

Sadly I don't own a drugstore highlighter so I can't give you a personal opinion on this one but I suggest you that if you are starting out in makeup or need something basic you maybe should use a highlighting concealer for example Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer for a more natural, easy to apply highlight!

Next for eye shadow I have chosen for you guys Barry M Natural Glow Eye Shadow and Face Blusher Palette (Yes you read it right it comes with a blush!). This palette is brilliant! This palette has six neutral tones and one blush at the end which are all very pigmented and blendable. Neutral tones are a great starting point and at a price of only £6.49 I would defiantly recommend this! It also comes with two sponge applicators, which personally I don't get on with, but maybe you will!

Another eye product now and it's an eye liner! I have chosen a pencil eyeliner because they are the best to start with because they don't smudge too easily and barely ever transfer making the learning process a lot easier. Also if you just want something basic a pencil is a great option. This product is 2True Easy Glide Kohl Pencil. This black shade isn't too pigmented which is good for a starter because it will help keep any mistakes less obvious. It is only £1.99 which is bonus!

Mascara was easy for me! This is Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara. This is AMAZING! Lengthening, not clumpy, add volume and everything else you could wish for! It's £7.99 which is on the pricier side but totally worth every penny!

Last but not least a brow product! Rimmel Professional Eye Brow Pencil is awesome. It's a simple pencil with a brow brush on its lid which is a bonus. It is a simple product but worth it and only £2.99
